Michael Strickland SCOTUS Appeal

On July 7, 2016, journalist and conservative provocatuer Michael Strickland attended a Black Lives Matter in downtown Oregon along with a video camera to film the protestors.

He had an Oregon Concealed Handgun License at the time, and was lawfully carrying a Glock 9mm.

A mob of angry protesters approached him, threatened him, and he subsequently produced his firearm.

Multnomah County– being the most hostile county in the state of Oregon to the personal ownership and possession of firearms– quickly charged and convicted him with several crimes relating to unlawful use of a firearm.

Mr. Strickland has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court of the United States. The petition is here.
